Welcome to the NRA Summer School for Armorers!

Attached is a copy of the required tool and materials list for your school. Please arrange to have these tools with you when you arrive at the school. If you have other tools that you are accustomed to working with bring them also.

It is important that you bring a good number of service firearms to the school to work on. When choosing firearms to bring to the class, look for ones that are in need of repair. The more weapons that you fix with the instructor looking over your shoulder, the better off you are.

REQUIRED FIREARMS

Remington 700 sniper rifle
Colt AR-15 Rifle
MP-5 submachine gun
Beretta 92 semi-auto pistol If your Dept. uses a different type of Colt or Ruger handgun bring them.
Live ammo is not permitted in the classrooms or the lab. You should bring live ammo to test fire your guns. It should be kept in your car. Firearm security lockers are available so bring an extra padlock or two.

We are looking forward to an enjoyable and productive school.
