WELCOME TO THE NRA SCHOOL FOR CORRECTIONAL ARMORERS!
Attached is a copy of the required tool and materials list for your
school. Please arrange to have these tools with you when you
arrive at the school. If you have other tools that you are
accustomed to working with, bring them also.
It is important that you bring a good number of service firearms
to the school to work on. When choosing firearms to bring to the
class, look for ones that are in need of repair. The more firearms
that you fix with the instructor looking over your shoulder the
better off you are. Bring any fixtures or gages you have and we
will make every effort to cover their use!
If you have firearms that you want or need to replace parts on it
is important that you bring these parts with you.
* S&W Revolver
* Remington 870 shotgun
* Ruger Mini-14 rifle
Please bring at least one of each of the above firearms and if you
have more that are in need of repair bring them as well.
Live ammo is not permitted in the classrooms or the lab. You may
bring live ammo to test fire your guns. It should be kept in your
car. Firearm lockers are available so bring an extra padlock or two.
We are looking forward to an enjoyable and productive school.
